Head of FRWO Emphasized the Need to Carry out Natural Resource Activities in the Framework of IWM Plan
Head of FRWO considered the implementation of natural resources projects in the form of Integrated Watershed Management (IWM) necessary for the protection of water and soil and the sustainable development of the country, and considered it necessary to do so by synergizing other sectors of natural resources management in the provinces.

According to FRWO’s website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in the training workshop in the gathering of the technical deputies of Natural Resources and Watershed Management Department (NRWD) across the country, which was held in the form of a video conference at FRWO Headquarters on Tuesday, reiterated: "One of the obstacles that prevents natural resources management to attain FRWO's goals, is fragmented government action that should lead to convergence and synergy."
Mansour stated: "The Natural Resources Law has defined FRWO's duties in preserving, rehabilitating, developing and exploiting for 44 years, and natural resources management can be prepared for nurseries, seed production stations, planted forests, etc., Can prepare a management plan, and by supervising and observing the above-mentioned four principles, entrusts its projects' management to natural and juridical persons".
